EcoSet Coordinator
Sustainability coordination for Zero Waste commercial shoots
EcoSet is hiring an in-house sustainable production coordinator for our Zero Waste commercial division. We work in the fast paced entertainment and film production industry, and we are looking for an adaptable person who can think on their feet and facilitate multiple projects simultaneously.
This full-time position will communicate and integrate sustainability initiatives into commercial productions. EcoSet strives for Zero Waste sets, and we are able to divert a majority of set waste from landfills by composting, recycling, food recovery and reuse strategies. We donate remaining wardrobe, props, set dressing and scenic materials into the local community on behalf of our clients.
As an EcoSet coordinator you will facilitate multiple productions at once, interfacing with various departments including Production, Art Department, Locations, Catering and Craft Service. This position will be responsible for liaising with departments during prep, dispatching freelance EcoSet crew to various shoots, and overseeing project details, scheduling and communication throughout all phases of a project.
We're seeking applicants who have a passion for environmental sustainability and prior experience in film production, preferably on commercial shoots. Required Skills:

Proficient in Google Workspace, Apple iWork, Slack, Asana

Leadership skills, training EcoSet freelance crew in procedures and working systems
Experience:

1+ year experience in the film production industry

1+ year experience in a freelance coordination or assistant coordination role, or 1+ year experience in a full time staff coordination role

Must have some on set experience and understand departmental roles within film crews

Experience with project management and meeting deadlines

Environmental background and/or education and certifications are desired but not required
Initial hiring parameters:
-
Freelance hourly employment for 3 month trial period
-
After review process, transition to full-time hourly staff position with health benefits, Paid Time Off program, holiday pay for major holidays, eligibility to enroll in company sponsored retirement plan

After 1 year retention, transition to salary with additional benefits
