With a plan in place, it's not waste!

EcoSet is an environmental production resource for the creative industries. We implement Zero Waste practices on productions and events. We recirculate production and event materials back into the community.

Film, TV, media, marketing and advertising clients partner with EcoSet to give a second life to sets, set dressing, props and other production materials. Working with EcoSet minimizes Scope 3 emissions and avoids sending useful resources to local waste systems.

EcoSet is working toward the transition to a creative circular economy, a new business as usual, and a better behind-the-scenes.

We collaborate with Every Day Action to ensure surplus craft services and catering from our sets never go to waste. Through this partnership, leftover meals are reallocated to communities in need across Los Angeles, turning production excess into immediate impact.

As part of our Zero-Waste mission, we partnered with TreePeople to give back to our local environment. For every commercial shoot we service, we plant five trees through TreePeople’s community forestry programs, helping restore urban green spaces and improve air quality across Los Angeles.

We extend the life of production surplus by donating school supplies, toys, and other valuable materials to the Boys & Girls Club. These contributions support local youth programs, creating positive impact beyond the set and into the community.

Our sustainability practices align with the Green The Bid framework, ensuring that every commercial production we service in Los Angeles follows industry-recognized Zero-Waste and environmental standards. By working within these guidelines, we help productions meet ambitious sustainability goals while setting a higher bar for accountability across the industry.
