Catering Requests

Thank you for collaborating with us to minimize the impacts from food service on set and achieve Zero Waste goals of 90% or greater diversion from landfill.

SUSTAINABLE FOOD SERVICE

Craft Service / Hydration

PLATES / CONTAINERS

  • Serve using reusable plates if possible

  • Serve using paper dinner plates instead of using take-away containers for all crew

  • Provide paper, fiber or 100% compostable take-away containers when needed for walk away meals

  • Avoid plastic and plastic lined food service containers

  • Use Kraft paper sleeves for single serve items

 

CUTLERY

  • Use reusable cutlery if possible

  • Eliminate all plastic cutlery for meal service

  • Provide birch or bamboo cutlery with no plastic packaging (EcoSet options available)

CUPS / DRINK WARE

  • Provide 100% compostable coffee cups and uncoated fiber lids (EcoSet options available)

  • Provide paper cups for cold drinks instead of bio plastics (PLA)

 

RED MEAT REDUCTION

  • Minimize service of red meat. Avoid steak completely due to wood utensils being used

 

PLANT BASED OPTIONS

  • Provide vegetarian, vegan and plant based protein options (Beyond, Impossible, other meatless products)

WATER

  • Avoid all plastic water bottles and boxed water

  • Provide canned water (EcoSet options available)

  • Use water stations in multiple work areas for crew to refill their own containers

 

CREW BEVERAGES

  • Provide primarily canned aluminum options (sparkling water, soft drinks, energy drinks)

  • Provide Liquid IV or other hydration powder and paper cups instead of plastic bottles of Gatorade, or source aluminum cans of Gatorade

  • Provide 100% compostable coffee cups and uncoated fiber lids (EcoSet options available)

  • Provide paper cups for cold drinks instead of bio plastics (PLA)

DefaultVeg

We are partnering with clients to pilot a low carbon approach to meal service. A DefaultVeg menu features plant-based meals as the default, while still giving diners the choice to add or opt into animal products upon request.
